Owner/Admin Settings

An overview of all the settings that are accessible as an owner or admin

This article will take you through an overview of all the settings in Journey that can be accessed by anyone with the role of owner or admin. Some settings require more detail and have their own article.

Profile

This is where you can update your name and number, as well as upload a photo if you like. You cannot change your email address as this is your unique identifier and login.

Preferences

This is where you can choose to view Journey in either light or dark mode

Company

This is where you can update your company logo, details, terms and conditions and field requirements.

eg. If you select 'Mobile' as a required field, if you tried to create a member profile without a mobile number, you will not be able to.

To view your current terms and conditions, click on 'open current file' and it will download the PDF

Clubs

This is where you can create new clubs and going into individual club settings. For more information on the individual club settings please scroll to the middle of this article.

Team

This is where you can add new members as well as change existing members role and club access. There are three roles:

Admin - the highest level of access and permission

Franchise Owner - mid-level access and permission

Staff - low level access and permission

Integrations

This is where you can integrate GymLeads from a company level. GymLeads must be integrated first from the company level and then on a club level. This can only be done by someone who has an owner or admin role in GymLeads.

Billing

This is where you can view, update and add credit card or bank details for Journey charges.

Notifcations

This is where you can update your email notification preferences and choose what actions you want to be notified about. Please note: you must select which club/s you are subscribed to otherwise you will receive no notifications.

Email Domain

Any time an email is sent from Journey, by default it will send from your custom Journey email domain that is generated at the same time your Journey account is created. This is where you can view your send statistics and also connect a custom domain if you wish.

Custom Fields

This is where you can create custom fields that will be included in each member profile. These can be used for many things, like saving screening waivers, listing what belt or clothing size the member is, and anything else that is useful to your club.

Change Password

This is where you can update you password at any time.

CLUB SETTINGS

Detail

This is where you can update your clubs address and phone number.

Direct Debit

This is where you integrate you PayChoice/QuickPay account and set your fees and charges.

SMS

This is where you can view and top up your SMS balance.

Tax Details

This is where you can tell us if you are registered for tax, add your TFN/ABN and choose whether your membership, package and trial prices (not POS) include tax. Please note: leaving that box unchecked means Journey will charge tax to your member on top of their charge.

GymLeads

This is where you can integrate GymLeads from a club level. GymLeads must be integrated first from the company level and then on a club level. This can only be done by someone who has an owner or admin role in GymLeads.

Web Portal

This is where you can customise the settings, colours and text of your web portal.

Imports

This is where you can import CSV sheets of members from previous member management programs. This is usually facilitated by the Journey team at the time of your on-boarding. More information about imports in this article.

This is where you can integrate with you access control system and view settings and latest pings.
