Does your member want to start using your gym today, but wants their first payment to come out next week? Well luckily for you, Journey already calculates the cost of those extra days and automatically adds them to their next scheduled payment!

Start Date and Billing Date are THE SAME

If you want the start date and the billing date to be the same, simply set the start date and leave the billing date blank - Journey will automatically set the billing date as the same as the start date.

Start Date is BEFORE the Billing Date

If you set the billing date after the start date, Journey will automatically calculate the cost of the days between the start date and billing date and add them to the next scheduled payment.

So in this instance it is the Membership Fee $39.95 + Joining Fee $29.00 + 7 days pro-rata = $78.17. The tax and other fees are then added on top.

Start Date is AFTER the Billing Date

If you set the billing date before the start date, Journey will automatically calculate the cost of the days between the start date and billing date and deduct them from the next scheduled payment.

So in this instance it is the Membership Fee $39.95 + Joining Fee $29.00 = $68.95 - 6 pro-rata days = $61.05. The tax and other fees are then added on top.

PLEASE NOTE: If the start date is in the future, the first scheduled payment will not be generated until that date.

If you don't want Journey to add or deduct pro-rata payments, either set the start date and the billing date to the same day, or use the Free Period Feature.
